Stallion Club embarks on endowment fund for indigent underprivileged Epe students

The newly elected President of the Stallion Circle Club of Epe, Tajudeen Debo Abdulai, has announced plans to establish an endowment fund to support underprivileged students in pursuing their education.
Unveiling the initiative at the club’s executive inauguration in Okebalogun, Epe, Abdulai revealed he has personally donated N100,000 to kickstart the fund.
The money will provide scholarships, JAMB, and GCE exam fees for financially disadvantaged students in Epe.
Emphasizing the club’s commitment to uplifting the community since its establishment in 1986, the Nigerian Tribune editor called upon civic-minded individuals to contribute to the endowment fund to raise educational standards for the youth in the community.
He stated that the club’s objectives include “intervening on community issues, promoting development, and aiding the elderly and needy.”
The Vice President, Dele Imam assured that the new executives would build upon the club’s legacy of service, stressing that members’ dedication to the club’s rules and ethics is key to achieving the club’s goals.
The Chief Scribe of the association, Nuhman Edu stated that membership is open to sons of Epe who shared in the dream of contributing to the growth and development of the town, adding that such people must be ready to abide by the principles and laws of the club.
Past beneficiaries shared how the club impacted their lives. Mrs. Amudalatu Ajoke-Oluwa recalled receiving money and food from the club during the pandemic.
“During the COVID-19 pandemic, some members of the club visited me; they gave me money and food items. I was so happy because it met my needs. Since that time, they have not relented in assisting me one way or another,” she explained.
Also, Ambaliu Borokini who has also benefited from the club’s financial aid, wished the new executives well.
Dignitaries at the occasion included a member of the House of Representatives, representing Epe Federal Constituency, Wale Raji; Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Abdulahi Sesan Olowa; Abiye Edu; friends and family members, among numerous well-wishers.
