Governor Obaseki Signs Historical MoU in Italy
Governor Godwin Obaseki signs a historic MoU a few moments ago in Veneto Italy. The MoU between the Italian region and Edo State was the highpoint of a series of activities the Governor has been engaged in since arriving Italy for the La Biennale Di Venezia Exhibition. The Governor, who made history by leading the first ever Nigeria delegation to the 60th International event, had earlier in the day addressed a press conference about the significance of Nigeria’s attendance at the event. Similarly, he used the occasion to explicate his administratio and Edo State’s vision and agenda on Arts Culture and Tourism. The Governor, who had his Commissioner for Arts Culture and Tourism, Dr Uyi Oduwa-Malaka, by his side at the signing of the MoU, was obviously elated at the prospects of the mutual development enumerated on the MoU signed to by both parties.

The exhibition provides an aesthetic rendezvous for many Arts, Culture and Tourism enthusiasts from around the world. This year’s was not different; bringing together African first Nobel Laureate in Literature, Professor Wole Soyinka, and Governor Godwin Obaseki together at an ambience that they clearly were not displeased to be in at.
