Nigeria Ogun-born publisher of Megastar Magazine and renowned PR expert, Adeniyi Ifetayo, and his wife recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on September 1st. The milestone marked nearly two decades of shared adventures, love, and commitment, which the couple commemorated with a special vacation to Rwanda.
The couple chose the serene ambience of Fazenda Sengha Recreational Center in Kigali as the perfect setting for their anniversary celebration. Known for its breathtaking topology and peaceful environment, the location offered the Ifetayos an ideal escape from their busy professional lives. Their vacation also included a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a poignant reminder of Rwanda’s history and resilience.
Speaking exclusively to Apples Bite Magazine, Ifetayo reflected on their 17-year marital journey. “Seventeen years in marriage gives us much to reflect on,” he said. “This vacation has provided us with an invaluable opportunity to relax and unwind away from the hectic demands of work.”
Adeniyi Ifetayo, a multi-award-winning journalist, continues to garner international recognition for his contributions to the media industry. Just recently, he was photographed with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during the Flavours of Nigeria Festival in Canada. The event, which showcases Nigeria’s rich culinary heritage, highlighted the cultural ties between the two nations.
For the Ifetayos, this vacation in Rwanda was more than just a trip—it was a celebration of their enduring bond and a chance to recharge amidst nature’s beauty. As they return to their respective careers, this break away from the daily grind of work will no doubt continue to inspire their journey together.
