Versatile Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has made a remarkable entry into cinema with her debut film, Queen Lateefah, which has shattered seven records at the Nigerian box office.
Toriola took to Instagram to celebrate the film’s achievements, listing its record-breaking milestones. Among the accolades, ‘Queen Lateefah’ is now recognized as the Highest Grossing Nollywood Release for a Non-Festive Period, Highest Opening Weekend for a Non-Holiday Season, 7th Highest Grossing Nollywood Film of All Time, and Highest Grossing September Release of All Time, among others.
The film grossed ₦365.4 million, breaking records in the Nollywood history.

In her message to fans, Toriola expressed deep gratitude for the support that propelled the movie to success.
