Airtel Nigeria encourages People in new Home Broadband TV Commercial
Airtel Nigeria has urged Nigerians to remain focused, and not allow any obstacle to stand between them and their dreams, no matter how daunting the obstacles may look.
The telecoms service provider gave this charge in its latest television campaign, ‘Live Limitless’, for its Home Broadband suite of products.
The commercial, featuring Farooq Oreagba, popularly known as the “King of Steeze”, portrays the impactful role of Airtel’s Home Broadband products in fostering connectivity across diverse Nigerian households.
Providing insights into the message of the new commercial, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Femi Oshinlaja, reiterated the brand’s commitment to ensuring seamless connectivity and empowering its customers to break barriers.
He described the commercial, which features the experiential message of ‘Live Limitless’, as not just a launch, but a way of life, adding that the choice of Oreagba, a cancer survivor, as the face of the commercial, was informed by the fact that his personae is tune with the spirit of limitless possibilities that Airtel Home BroadBand represents.
Speaking on the affiliation with Airtel Home BroadBand, Oreagba expressed his delight at the partnership with the telecoms brand, since the campaign, he noted, shares his journey of overcoming obstacles.
“Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer, and if someone had told me I would be standing here today as an ambassador for Airtel, I wouldn’t have believed it. But with resilience, I was determined to stop at nothing. I am the face of this commercial because the message, Live Limitless, deeply resonates with me and I know it has the power to inspire anyone facing challenges,” he said.
The company’s Head of Brands and Advertising, Bolanle Osotule, highlighted the brand’s mission to empower everyone with the chance to break free from limitations.
Its Director, Corporate Communications and CSR, Femi Adeniran, described the new TV commercial as reinforcing Airtel’s commitment to enabling users to stay connected, work, and play without limitations, and ultimately promoting a digitally inclusive Nigeria.
