Jumia to Bridge Digital Divide with Initiative
Electronic commerce platform, Jumia has restated commitment to bridging digital gap amongst tech consumers, as its declared open 2023 edition of ‘Tech Week’ campaign.
The initiative aimed to ensure that consumers were able to access authentic tech devices such as mobile phones, accessories, TVs, computers, cameras and video games, amongst others.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, Massimiliano Spalazzi, the campaign which will come to a close by April 2, offers all consumers nationwide an opportunity to upgrade their tech devices for less from renowned brands like samsung, tecno, binatone and scanfrost,amongst others.
He added that the programme was designed to enable every device user, irrespective of their economic class access quality and original gadgets.
He said, “We believe that everyone should have access to quality products at competitive prices, and we are committed to making this a reality. By partnering with leading brands to provide our consumers with access to the latest tech devices, we hope to help bridge the digital divide and empower more people to achieve their full potential.

On his part, E-Commerce Operation Manager, Oraimo Technology Limited, Alex Liu stated that Oraimo is partnering with Jumia so as to connect with the objective of the initiative in the interest of consumers.
