Actors, Actresses Storm Saint Obi’s Candlelight Service
Late Nollywood actor Saint Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi, has been honoured by his friends and colleagues.
Nollywood actors and personnel took the time to hold a candlelight service for the deceased.
The solemn yet heartwarming occasion was held in Lagos State with a procession that started from Oriental Hotel and ended at Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island.
According to KOKO TV NG, the actor passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the Tudun Wada, Jos, the residence of a sibling.
Saint Obi’s family debunks claims he shut colleagues out
The family worked hard to change the narrative surrounding the late actor’s death.
Journalist Zik Zulu Okafor and filmmaker Zeb Ejiro revealed that Obi died a sad, frustrated and lonely man maltreated by his rich wife and her family.
In a statement to a blogger, the family debunked claims that his friends didn’t show up for his children’s naming ceremony or child dedication.
