Afrobeats lacks something special without my presence – Orezi
Singer Esegine Allen, known as Orezi, has declared his intention to return to the music scene and make a significant impact in the Nigerian music industry.
In an interview with Gehn Gehn TV, the artist confidently stated that afrobeats music lacks something special without his presence.
Orezi, famous for his hit song “Shoki,” compared himself to a lion and expressed his determination to elevate the afrobeats genre to new heights. He boldly claimed that he would be the driving force behind this transformation.
In asserting his uniqueness as an artist, Orezi emphasized that he doesn’t conform to conventional rules and norms in the industry.
He firmly stated, “I am Orezi,” signifying his distinct approach and style.
He said, “Afrobeats without me are not worth listening to. A lion cannot miss the hunt. On my shoulders I would carry afrobeats to the next level and I will dominate.
“The difference between me and other artistes is that I am different. I don’t follow rules. Rules are for regular artistes. I am Orezi.”
