DJ Cuppy expresses regret for not declining Ex-Fiance offer of love
Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy has expressed regrets over some of the decisions she made in her life.
According to DJ Cuppy, one of the things she regretted doing was saying yes to her ex-fiance, Ryan Taylor.
The billionaire’s daughter made the revelation at a gathering recently where she told her female folks that there is nothing wrong saying “NO”.
She said: “One of the things I have learned is saying no. I had one of the worst years of my life last year because I couldn’t say no. I didn’t say no to opportunities that I should have said no to. I didn’t say no to a fiancé I should’ve said no to. I didn’t say no to taking things on.”
“I was at the BBC; I had a morning breakfast show, then I was DJing, I was planning a wedding, I was in Oxford University. I burnt myself out.”
“And none of us are either good to ourselves or other people when we burnt out. So, we have to deal with that guilt that comes with saying no. It’s okay to say no.”
For those who don’t know, DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor got engaged in November 2022. The duo parted ways in July 2023, barely seven months after the shocking engagement.
