Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed pride in her son-in-law, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, after he received a major nomination at the 17th edition of the Headies Awards.

Taking to Instagram, Iyabo shared a photo from the Headies 17 site, urging her followers to support Juma Jux in winning the Best East African Artiste of the Year category.

“Amazing news in the midst of our celebration! @juma_jux has been nominated! My people, let’s rally together and show our support. Please vote in huge numbers! He is one of us now,” she wrote.

She congratulated Juma Jux on the well-deserved nomination, expressing hope that he would emerge victorious.

Earlier, the actress also shared an emotional thanksgiving post, celebrating her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and her husband, Juma Jux. She expressed gratitude for the blessings she has received, especially through her new son-in-law.

Iyabo’s joy follows Priscilla’s recent wedding to Juma Jux, which took place over the weekend in accordance with Tanzanian customs.
