Above were some of the takeaways from the just concluded Impact Africa Summit where I shared a panel with some brilliant minds in the public health sector. My panel cross examined the African terrain in current malaria treatment, the trends and future hope for vaccination. I gave insight on the Malaria Eradication and Waste Management Bill as sponsored by Senator Ned Nwoko and the economic benefits of such Bill to Nigeria.
The event was held in Lagos and was attended by Minister of Health, Commissioners for Health Lagos State and Ekiti State, President of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, WHO Representatives, Novartis Pharma, to mention but a few.
