Contrary to the false information making round that Sen Ned Nwoko was quoted to have admitted receiving N1billion Naira for constituency projects in Delta North, it is important to set the records straight
The said statement is total falsehood and an attempt to mislead the people. For the records, Most Distinguished Nigerian Senator Prince Ned Nwoko did not receive any kobo and will not receive a penny from the budget.
However, it is pertinent to state that these people are making references to how much that was allocated to projects in Delta North facilitated by the Most Distinguished Nigerian Senator Prince Ned Nwoko.
Also, in their haste to misinform the people, cause dissatisfaction and bitterness, they did not verify or get full details of the exact amount approved and how it will be executed.
The truth is that Most Distinguished Nigerian Senator Prince Ned Nwoko successfully facilitated the approval of over N3.5bn in the 2024 appropriation act for projects in Delta North.
The project execution will be implemented by relevant ministries, departments, and agencies who will award the contracts in line with the procurement process while the Senator will be tasked with oversight functions.
While many senators could only facilitate much constituency projects for their people, our Most Distinguished Nigerian Senator Prince Ned Nwoko was able to secure the approval of over N3.5billion in the 2024 appropriation act for projects in Delta North senatoria district.
The projects includes; Road construction, provision of Solar powered street Lights, Dam Projects, equipping of health care centres, empowerment programs for women and youths, medical outreach programs, construction of administrative blocks at Federal university of medical and health science in Kwale as well as completion of the second Niger bridge bypass.
