Nigerian pastor and popular gospel musician Nathaniel Bassey on Monday ministered at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.
The event, a non-governmental and non-political gathering, was hosted by Reverend Merrie Turner following the swearing-in of President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance as the 47th President and Vice President of the United States.
Invited to minister at the occasion, Bassey delivered a moving rendition of his song Take the Stage, captivating the audience with his heartfelt performance. Through his music, he offered a prayer for divine guidance over the White House and sought God’s glory to shine over the nation.

He shared that Reverend Turner had called him after a moment of prayer, explaining that God had instructed her to invite him to “release His glory over the United States.”
