The Managing Director of Eleganza Industrial City Ltd, Mrs. Folashade Okoya, has expressed profound gratitude to her husband, Chief Rasaq Okoya, for his unwavering support following her recognition at the forthcoming Arise Gala for Women Making Impact 2025.
The event, organised by Arise News Channel, will take place on Monday, March 31, to celebrate 65 outstanding women in honour of Nigeria’s 65th independence anniversary.
Folashade is being recognised for her immense contributions to Nigeria’s industrial growth and economic development.
In a statement on Saturday, Folashade credited her husband, the Chairman of Eleganza Group of Companies, for playing a pivotal role in her success.
“Being honoured and winning several awards would not have been possible without the inspiration I have received from my husband, Chief Rasaq Okoya. He saw the potential in me when I couldn’t see it myself and encouraged me to push harder,” she said.
Quoting a letter received from Arise News Channel, Folashade said the management of the channel praised her for her contributions to the growth of Nigeria, Africa, and the world.
“It is our privilege and pride to celebrate and honour you for your exceptional achievements as one of Nigeria’s female leaders and change-makers,” the letter read.
The Board of Editors of Arise News Channel also highlighted Folashade’s leadership, resilience, and influence, commending her role in driving progress and transformation.
