State creation as Actress Regina Daniels drums support for Anioma

Daniels, in a video on her Instagram page on Friday said “I lend my voice to support the recently sponsored bill by my husband and our distinguished Senator for the creation of Anioma State.
Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has drummed support for the creation of Anioma State from Delta State.
A bill for that purpose is currently before the Senate and is being sponsored by Senator Ned Nwoko.
“The creation of Anioma State is long overdue. The 50years struggle of our ancestors must not be in vain. This is the time to make it happen.”
According to Daniels, Anioma is indeed an endowed culture, as it possessed the classical characteristic of oneness, a shared history, robust culture, language, tradition and features that set the people apart from other local governments in Delta State, yet, uniquely connecting us to the South Eastern States.
“As a true daughter of Anioma, I am immensely proud of the recent sponsored bill for the creation of Anioma State by my beloved husband and our distinguished Senator Ned Munir Nwoko.
“I believe the passage of this bill will heed the clarion call for the creation of the sixth state in the Southeast a long standing injustice. Anioma is the most viable state with a very huge land mass,” she said.
Daniels added that Anioma is blessed with all the natural resources to flourish and strive as a state, saying it goes without saying that the creation of Anioma State would promote fair distribution of “our natural resources and natural to flourish and strive as a state, saying it goes without saying that the creation of Anioma State would promote fair distribution of “our natural resources and enhance our legislative representative for our people.”
“I humbly appeal to all stakeholders, the Anioma traditional rulers council, the socio-cultural groups, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Anioma residents to set aside differences and unite in the cause.
