In December last year, some few days to the festive period, I was privileged to have a look at the charity or ‘giveaway’ list of some persons.
On two occasions, something happened that got me thinking. The person funding the charity had compiled a list, and was just discussing the idea with us when one of us said, “let me see the list so I can take out those that don’t deserve to be there”.
That statement kept ringing in my ears.
Now, it is not your money. The owner of the money had compiled a list from his mind and has decided to be gracious to those he wished to be gracious to. And then someone from somewhere just wants to take away another person’s name from receiving such a favour. Irrespective of the reason, I find it strange, or better put, wicked.
Now imagined that someone had shut down Pharaoh’s butler when he tried to introduce Joseph and his abilities to Pharoah? So that is how they would have extended Joseph’s stay in the prison.
The truth is, sometimes that delayed breakthrough is not because you are not hardworking enough or not qualified. It is someone who is taking your name out of the list.
This week, my prayer for you is that God would unseat all those who want to take your name away from that Admission list, Promotion list, Appointment list, Approved Contract list, Approved Visa list, Favour list, Employment list, and all the good list where your name has been written.
You will be remembered for good this week!
Stay positive and keep giving your best shots in all that you do.
You shall reap if you faint not.
Cheers!
