Although Introverted children enjoy their alone and quiet time, it should be noted that they also enjoy activities like their extroverted counterparts.

As the country celebrates Children’s Day today, here are 5 fun activities you can do with your introverted child.

Cooking or baking:

This activity will not only strengthen the bond between you and your child, but introverted kids also use this activity as a medium to express their creativity. A simple cake recipe or pasta meal never fails for first-timers.

Art

Art, over the years, has remained a fun way for people to express themselves. Painting, sculpting, drawing, and other forms of art is a fun way to engage your child. Buy them supplies and watch them create.

Reading:

For their love of quiet and serenity, taking an introverted kid to a bookstore or a Library can make their entire day. Buy them a good book, and watch them settle into their blissful world.

Board games

Parents can also foster a deeper connection with their kids by playing board games with them. This not only avails parents the opportunity to spend time with their introverted kids, but they also eliminate the pressure of socialising for these kids. A problem-solving board game always does the trick.

Movie night:

This activity can be enjoyed by the entire family. Set up a cosy spot in your home with some pillows, blankets, and fizzy drinks, and watch their favourite show with them.
