AMVCA 2025: Nominees List Available

The organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have announced the full list of nominees for the 2025 edition, bringing excitement to Nollywood fans.

The 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA 2025) nominees were just announced. Leading the pack this year is Femi Adebayo’s Seven Doors with 11 nominations, including ‘Best Supporting Actor’ for Aliu Gafar, ‘Best Lead Actress’ for Chioma Akpota and ‘Best Lead Actor’ for Femi Adebayo. Adebayo is also nominated for ‘Best Director,’ alongside Adebayo Tijani and Tope Adebayo.

Uzor Arukwe, popularly known as ‘Odogwu,’ secured a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Suspicion”, while Omoni Oboli is in the running for Best Supporting Actress for “The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3”.

The list, released on Sunday night, features top actors like Adedimeji Lateef, Femi Adebayo, and Chioma Chukwuka, who are all nominated in major categories.

The 2025 edition will have 28 categories, with both voting and non-voting awards.
