Nigeria’s Nominees For 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards: Burna Boy, Odumodublvck Make List

Nigerian duo of Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy and Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, a.k.a, Odumodublvck, have received nominations for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Ireporteronline reports that the award organizers unveiled the complete list of nominees for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards on Thursday.

This year, Megan Thee Stallion leads the nominations, with an impressive total of 12, closely followed by Kendrick Lamar with 11 nominations.

Burna Boy and Odumodublvck secured one nomination each, with Burna Boy recognized in the ‘Best Live Performer’ category and Odumodublvck in the ‘Best International Flow’ category.

The BET Hip Hop Awards is an annual event broadcast on BET that highlights the achievements of hip-hop artists, producers, and music video directors.

The inaugural ceremony took place on November 12, 2006, at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, with its first airing on November 15, hosted by comedian Katt Williams.

The upcoming awards ceremony is scheduled for October 8, 2024.
