In Quest for a better Nigeria!

In December last year, during a tete-a-te with a close friend, while he praised me for releasing four books at once, I told him in confidence that I was going to release (12) twelve books this year 2023, and that the manuscripts are ready, just for me to do the editing and all the other logistics that go with book publishing.

2023 came and I am here looking for fuel, power (electricity), money (naira notes) and all whatnot!

If I try to shield myself from all these external pressures and release the first two for January and February, what about the readers?

My audience who are mainly Nigerians, sleeping in different queues around the country, how many aside from those in the academics are thinking of reading these days with all the pressures around.

This is how our productivity and efficiencies are battered year in and year out in this country.

So when you hear people aspiring to ‘Japa’ as if their lives depend on it, or you see those who have successfully ‘Japa’ celebrate it as if they have made it to heaven, don’t try to preach patriotism to their motherland to them, these and many more are the reasons for the exodus!

But can the forthcoming elections set a new template for a Nigeria that truly works?

Our actions and inactions will determine that.

No long stories, you are either with us or you are against us!

Vote wisely!
