In a warm and heartfelt message, the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, extends his sincere gratitude to the people of Ekiti, including political and religious leaders, traditional rulers, friends, associates, colleagues, and family members, for their overwhelming expressions goodwill, birthday wishes, and on the occasion of his 57th birthday, celebrated on Saturday, December 21, 2024.
This appreciation was conveyed in a statement released by Yinka Oyebode Special Adviser, Media to the Governor of Ekiti State, on December 22nd, 2024.
The Governor also acknowledges the kind messages from his fellow members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), as well as former governors of the state, who took the time to celebrate this milestone with him.
Particularly noteworthy is Governor Oyebanji’s deep appreciation for those leaders, friends, associates, and family members who generously contributed cash materials on his behalf to special schools in Ikere-Ekiti, Ido-Ekiti, and Ikoro-Ekiti, along with the Rehabilitation Centre in Ado-Ekiti as he had requested.
The Governor expressed that the joy of bringing happiness to the faces of students at these special schools, gave him a great measure of joy and fulfillment.
In closing, Governor Oyebanji thanks everyone their continued prayers and support for and his administration. He wishes the people of Ekiti a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year ahead.
