Memunat, A female Graduate of Mathematics and Statistics, who drives ‘Korope

Meet Mustafa Memunat, a Mathematics and Statistics graduate who currently makes a living by driving a small commercial bus, locally known as ‘Korope.’ In addition to her degree, she holds diplomas in desktop publishing and statistical package software.

Despite being trained by experienced teachers, securing employment proved challenging. Forced to take matters into her own hands, Memunat turned to teaching.

However, faced with a lack of support from her husband, she took a bold step by purchasing a bus to provide for her three children. In a recent interview with Vanguard, Memunat candidly discusses her experiences with the bus and the challenges she faces while providing for her family.
