Davido, Chioma will hold white wedding in Miami

Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed plans to have his white wedding ceremony with his wife, Chioma, in August in Miami, USA.

While on The Breakfast Club interview, Davido confirmed the upcoming event, saying, “I’m doing my white wedding in Miami in August. Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot has happened, apart from losing our child.”

The announcement comes 10 months after their lavish traditional wedding, held in June 2024 at Eko Hotels in Lagos, which was attended by top celebrities and dignitaries.

During the interview, Davido opened up about the strength of their relationship, including the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.

He praised Chioma’s loyalty and grace in handling the pressures of being in the public eye, noting that she has never exploited their private life for fame or attention.
