The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has strengthened its international partnerships to address climate challenges, hosting key representatives from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Energy Resources and Deloitte to discuss critical environmental strategies.

NUPRC’s Chief Executive, Engr. Gbenga Komolafe, emphasized the strategic importance of the Nigeria-U.S. bilateral relationship, particularly in the energy sector. Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the collaboration aims to advance decarbonization efforts and improve emissions management in Nigeria’s upstream petroleum industry.
