Otunba Gbenga Daniel Pays Tribute to Late House Deputy Whip Adewunmi Onanuga

Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has expressed profound grief over the death of Honourable Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, the Deputy Whip of the House of Representatives. The late lawmaker was described as a close confidant and associate who made significant contributions to women’s advancement in Remoland.

In a statement released today, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the Arole of Remoland, described Onanuga’s death as untimely and unexpected, referring to her as a younger sister whose loss has deeply affected him. “She embodied an unquenchable ‘Can Do’ spirit and was always full of life, attracting great respect wherever she went,” Daniel stated.

The late Deputy Whip was particularly noted for her role as an inspiration for women’s aspirations in Remoland. According to Senator Daniel, she distinguished herself as a politician of remarkable difference, making substantial impacts in her various roles.

The Senator acknowledged that while Sagamu and Remoland mourn her passing, her never-yielding spirit would serve as a guiding light. He expressed hope that the family she left behind would find comfort in this difficult time.
