President Tinubu To Attend Nigeria vs Cote d’Ivoire Final In Abidjan – CAF

Patrice Motsepe, the president of the Confederation of African Football Federations (CAF), has disclosed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria will be present at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final….

The final match between Nigeria and hosts Cote d’Ivoire is scheduled to take place at the Alassanne Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Sunday.

Addressing reporters during a press conference at the Palace de la Culture in Trechville, Abidjan, on Friday, Motsepe mentioned the potential of Africa hosting the World Cup again.

Responding to inquiries about Africa’s potential World Cup bid, the South African business tycoon stated, “Nigeria must submit a bid. The Nigerian president (Bola Tinubu) is attending the final on Sunday. I will discuss it with him.”

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima was present during the Super Eagles’ semi-final victory over South Africa, where they won 4-2 on penalties.

The highly anticipated final is set to commence at 9 pm Nigerian time.
