• RCCG Pastor Adeboye’s call released TikToker SeaKing.
Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as SeaKing, has been released from police custody, according to Omoyele Sowore.
The social media personality was arrested over allegations of cyberbullying against Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), following remarks made during a live session in December 2024.
Sowore, a former presidential candidate and vocal advocate for SeaKing’s release, announced on Monday via X (formerly Twitter) that the TikToker had been freed from detention.
“We are pleased to confirm that Olumide Ogunsanwo @seaking303 has been released from @PoliceNG custody after our prompt rejection of the initial bail condition requiring a Level 12 or 10 civil servant, resulting in a swift agreement and release on administrative bail, signed by me,” Sowore stated, sharing a photo of SeaKing smiling inside a car.
Adeboye himself had called for the TikToker’s release during the RCCG February Holy Ghost Service at the church’s 3km by 3km auditorium in Simawa, Ogun State.
“God told us at the beginning of this year that mockers will be more active, they would become bolder, even hot,” Adeboye said.
“I heard that there was someone who lambasted me thoroughly because I asked my people to fast and pray for 100 days. I did not ask him to fast. I was only talking to my children.
“I was told that some people are so angry and they went and arrested him. Release him! He is fulfilling prophecy.”
