You took bold step yesterday by obtaining your interest form to run for the office of Sagamu local Government, what inform your decision?

Sagamu is always in my mind, and I specifically observed some aspects have not been fixed to the community satisfaction which need serious attention and I believe, with the level of my experience, I need to come to the rescue of my community (sagamu) especially in terms of growth, development and good governance.

Some believe that politics is a dirty game, what would you do differently to change the narrative?
Politics is not dirty, it depends on the perspective that we are looking at. The most important thing is your manifestos and the plans that you have for your people, will determine either your people will accept you or not.

If you eventually get your party tickets and win the election, what do you intend to do for the people of Sagamu local government?
As you know, I have always been very concerned about the state of event in our local government. I believe there are workable solutions that are available that will enhance better standard of living for our people. I would like to see an environment that is conducive for the prosperity of our people, to facilitate equitable distribution of wealth and entrenched good governance within our local government.

You are an education administrator who has impacted the life of youth that even earned you a nickname BABANNE, please share with us your interactions with youth and active politics?
Education plays an important role in economic growth and development and I will pay more attention on education for our children, especially elementary education from primary 1 to primary 6 as a third tiers of government. I will pay more attention to our children who were out of school to be enrolled back because when you educate a child, you educate a community and when you educate a community you have indirectly educate a nation. Education is one of the legacy I want to bequeath our children because they are the leaders of tomorrow.

Is this the Sagamu of your dreams? What will you like to do differently to make it great?

Not yet the Sagamu of my dreams and as you know, governance is continuum so I would be upgrading our health facilities in order to promote healthy living. Rehabilitation of schools and maintenance of road networks in sagamu will be given utmost priority. I will also work with various CDAs (unofficial arms of government) for the improvement of our security. I will also establish a security councils that will involve all our security agents such as Police, Civil defense and Vigilantes.
