The clubs have agreed a deal in principle worth in the region of €1.2million ($1.3m) for the defender, which is subject to final approval from the Saudi club and league.
Troost Ekong, 30, has agreed a two-year contract with the option of a further 12 months and, is on his way to Saudi Arabia to complete the deal. Portuguese manager Paulo Duarte has a strong connection with African football having previously managed Burkino Faso and most recently Togo.
Troost-Ekong has been in Greece since leaving Watford last summer.

Al Kholood were promoted to the Saudi Pro League last season after finishing third in the country’s second tier.
